This is for "The Broken Egg Challenge".  I was snooping around online painting challenges here and there. Hoping to find something that would excite me. And this egg challenge got my attention.  Love the way of transparent eggs catch highlights and the moist shine on inside of broken egg shells. I will try more eggs.

This is one of my son's stuffies and my favorite of his. I originally planned to paint cups with chopsticks and some plates today but somehow I wasn't inspired to paint them. Then this monkey was calling me in my son's toy basket.

 

Nathan (my son) was pleased to see this painting when he came back from his Taekwondo spring camp. His birthday is next week so it is going to be one of his presents.

I had a terrible cold for a while. I had lost my voice for two days but fortunately it is back now. I am happy that I can talk without having any pain in my neck.
