'Distortion' 5x7 in oil on Gessobord
I recently visited Aaron Lifferth's blog and fell in love with his works. He makes ordinary objects extraordinary - worthy to check it out. It's too bad that he doesn't seem to post often these days. One of his works, he painted an empty glass bottle with a straw and I wanted to try it too - so here it goes. When I started to paint this, I had 'Thirst' in mind as it's title. But I guess 'Distortion' speaks more to me. I will save 'Thirst' for later.
