Whenever I start new surface for painting, it takes time to get used to it. It doesn't matter if I have worked on it before or not. Maybe it takes less time  if I have used the surface before but still need some time to get familiar again. Now I am restarting with Gessobords and I had to wipe out two paintings before I decided to save this one.
